Salma Younes - Co-Founder & CEO
Salma Younes is the Co-Founder and CEO of InviCure, a PhD Candidate in Nanotechnology and Infectious Diseases, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. An entrepreneur since 2016, she built a strong foundation in the skincare and cosmetics industry, leading successful ventures before co-founding InviCure to bring science-driven, sustainable skincare solutions to market.
Alongside her entrepreneurial and scientific work, she has established a recognized presence in the beauty and skincare space, engaging a broad audience through digital platforms. She has also been awarded twice by Qatar University’s Office of Strategic Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development since joining in 2022, further strengthening her expertise in business and innovation.
Gheyath Nasrallah- Founder
Professor Gheyath Nasrallah is the co-founder of InviCure, with extensive expertise in medical laboratory technology, diagnostics, and infectious diseases. His multi-regional academic journey and research experience in Canada have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to lead advanced research in Qatar. His Qatar Foundation-funded studies have contributed to enhancing diagnostic technologies and advancing infectious disease research. Prof. Nasrallah Ranked among the top 1% most cited scientists worldwide by Clarivate Analytics, he leads a distinguished team dedicated to advancing laboratory technology and shaping the future of healthcare solutions.
Faleh Tamimi Marino - Co-founder
Professor Faleh Tamimi is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as research coordinator at the College of Dental Medicine, Qatar University. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a PhD in Biomaterials and he is a world class expert in the field of materials science and biomaterials with over 200 peer reviewed publications and more than 10 patents. Prior to his appointment at Qatar University, Professor Tamimi was a tenured Associate Professor at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he also served as the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Dentistry.
Prof. Tamimi has co-founded several start-up companies in the field of biotechnology and medical devices. He is the chair of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Health Sector at Qatar University, and co-chair of the Qatar Health Hackathon, and he has mentored multiple startups both in Qatar and in Canada
He has received important awards and recognitions such as the Canada Research Chair, and the W.W. Wood Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry.
Laith Gheyath Nasrallah- CTO
Laith Nasrallah is a tech innovator and entrepreneur, serving as the CTO and Frontend Developer at InviCure. With expertise in cloud computing, AI, robotics, and software engineering, he develops cutting-edge solutions that bridge emerging technologies with real-world applications. From deploying autonomous underwater vehicles to architecting scalable cloud infrastructures, he combines technical mastery with business insight to drive innovation.
At InviCure, Laith leads the development of intuitive digital experiences, leveraging AI, data analytics, and cloud platforms to enhance efficiency and user engagement. His expertise in automation, security, and cloud-native solutions ensures scalable, high-performance systems that push the boundaries of technology-driven business transformation.
